for the first time

apa khabar semua!!!! i'm finally in! no longer need to post using the comments function. =) anyway, i havn't been seeing many of you peepz these days. sorry! been going to work before sunrise and returning to hostel after sunset. spend close to 3 hours travelling back and forth, approx 30min - 1 hr waiting for transport. close to torment. this reminds me of my workmate at grand hyatt singapore 2 years back who travels from tampines to orchard daily for work. but then working hours back there is fixed - 8 hours a day! now got 'super flexible' working hours...start work at 8.30am and can last till 12 hours later. everybody let's start planning what we want to do on 31 dec 2004 - new year's eve. STEP 1: get permission to stay out the whole night( so that you don't hav to worry about rushing back to hostel before 12 midnight!) hmm..call me super duperly anxious but i wonder how will our juniors next year be like? haha... i still rem the first night i spend in chbs the first thing on my mind was to look for you guys, yes you, you and you - malaysian asean scholars. don't think i can survive in this cheena-land without some mat blood.haha. you guys really help me keep in touch n not get adrift into becoming overly singaporean-ised. till next time. to all those still working...smile always! ps: who'll be around for christmas?
